What are Bitters?

Bitters are a seasoning for your cocktails. A chef wouldn’t cook food without adding herbs and spices, and bitters is made from exactly that. Herbs, spices, fruits, barks, roots, and other plant matter are infused into an alcohol base. The flavors of the botanicals absorb into the alcohol, the plant matter is strained out, and the resulting liquid is the bitters; a concentrated flavoring agent ready to be creatively utilized in your cocktails.
